Graduate of Purdue University in Psychology (1988), Army enlisted in military intelligence and stationed in Augsburg Germany for two years. Married with three children, two grown up and one even married. Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Platoon Leader and truck convoy commander. Graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in May 2007.
